IFCA Thanksgiving Dinner
The Clear Lake United Methodist Church and Galilean Lutheran Church co-hosted the IFCA (Interfaith Fellowship for Community Action) Community Thanksgiving meal at the United Methodist Church.
Two hundred fifty-three (253) meals were served from 11:30 to 1:30 on November 28. The meal included turkey, dressing, potatoes with gravy, green beans, corn and a roll. Topping the meal off was a large variety of homemade pies. It doesn’t get any better than that!
It really does take a village to put on an event like this. On Thursday, 63 volunteers from seven churches gave their time to make this a successful event. The meals were available for dine-in, delivery and take out.
Everybody involved felt God’s blessings and love as they served others during the day.

Clear Lake UMC – Weather Cancellation Policy
CLUMC will be closed and all activities cancelled:
Clear Lake Community Schools are cancelled or dismiss early due to inclement weather.
Pastor and Ad Council Chair determine that conditions are unsafe.
Closures will be announced on www.clearlakeumc.org and local radio and television stations.
All persons should consider their own safety before venturing out in inclement weather. If Sunday worship service is held, it is streamed on YouTube.
