Friends, Films, and Fellowship will enjoy this unusual comedy-drama for the July and final selection of our
’24—25 movie season.
“Fatherhood” is a film about a Black man determined to bring up his baby girl as a single dad after the unexpected death of his wife a day after their daughter’s birth. As a single father, he has many unusual experiences and complications in learning, as he attempts to create a “normal” home and family situation for a child developing into a young woman.
