ONBOARDING SESSION
This year, the Conference is asking all churches with new pastors to participate in an Onboarding session. Dr. Jaye Johnson, will be the facilitator for an evening preparing our congregation and our new pastor with ways in which our working relationship can be jump-started as we begin our new life together. The meeting will be on Tuesday,
July 8. A light supper will be available at
5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The meeting will begin at 5:30. All members are encouraged to attend this meeting.
Onboarding was first used when our Bishop came to Iowa a couple years ago and has been a successful tool in the churches that have used it since then. Getting a new pastor always comes with a learning curve – and Onboarding can eliminate a lot of the normal adjustment time. Please plan on attending Onboarding on July 8.
